Describe yourself (personality/attitude/passions/beliefs):
Kind of funny (ironic) to be on a site that is literally set up for seeking, given that it is seeking in all forms that acts as an apparent barrier to realization of the true nature of self and this so-called reality. :) But then again, life seems to revel in contradictions and absurdities, doesn't it? My daily existence tends to be internally focused in on the exploration of "what is," which sounds so simple and it is, in essence, but yet there are also all of these fascinating levels of complex appearances of thoughts, images, feelings, sensations, all wrapped up in a made-up story, oh so clever in its imaginative deceptions and clever subtleties. So yeah, there's a dose of my spiritual talk....
I like to play with humor and allowing vulnerability and openness as much as possible. I am very fit and active physically - yoga, trail running, hiking, pickleball, skiing, etc. Like to be outside in general, even if it's hanging poolside. Like to play indoor and outdoor games, read novels, cook creatively and eat healthy, except maybe for the dark chocolate that calls to me.But I discovered that my relationship with dark chocolate was pointing to an inner longing at a deeper level, and that level turned out ot be the combo of dark chocolate and peanut butter. :)
My money-making work is playing the role of mediator, and it's kind of amusing that two of my primary activities are separated by only one letter - mediation and meditation. I am into open-hearted, authentic communication. I have been told its a good idea to practice gratitude, so here goes - I'm glad that I still have hair on my head but none on my back. If you can say the same that would be great. :)
Describe the type of person you'd like to meet:
I hesitate to say much about who I imagine would be the type of person I want to meet because I have learned that what my thoughts would say about that may be far from what life has in store for this Paul character and what person might play a starring role in opening doors to realization. Nonetheless, what I imagine "working" is a relationship with a woman who is fascinated with and participating in the exploration of the nature of reality.
For relating to take place on a satisfying and illuminating level, it seems that the person I am with will need to have an operating system that has explored and realized a lot about the nature of "self" and "reality." Otherwise we will be seeing two very different perceptions of what we are and what the "world" is, and then how can we relate?.
What I feel attracted to in my mind's eye is a relationship where we share about our spiritual explorations and support the process of awakening, should such a "process" actually exist. Whether it does or not, that is what this Paul character is up to.
On a more human, visceral level, I would enjoy a relationship with mutual physical attraction, unwavering honesty and openness, easy companionship, lightheated play, laughter, dancing, hiking, and intense intimacy. Just imaging all that sure feels good. :)
