I could be described as... honest, kind, musical, creative, analytical, intuitive...

A major theme of my life has been a very deep exploration of things spiritual/psychic/energetic etc. Have been through many chapters in this... Thesedays I value the worldly and 'human' more than I used to...

I value good science (much of it isn't so good...) and the best kind of 'critical thinking', as well as the creative and transcendent. I'm involved in no belief system. I appreciate the detail, the layers... All of this (which occurs naturally for me) often brings me to a view that is... 'unusual' - though it's not my intention to be unusual!

Have been on a long journey involving my health. This has open my eyes to... all sorts of exciting things! Thesedays I'm in great health. To keep as healthy as possible I meditate, 'ground', deliberately spend time in the cold and in the sun, avoid blue light, follow a carnivore diet, take regular saunas and more.

Music has always been important, even central, to me. I've played piano from the age of 5 and have been a professional musician (keyboard player) for most of my working life. I'm fascinated by chords, harmony, sound...

I can often be a serious soul... but have definitely got a mischievous and playful side, too. I enjoy the absurd!

I love nature and all things beautiful.

I am a work in progress... I have a good mind and a loving heart!

I was a successful professional touring musician for a great many years. This role took me all over the globe and gave me all kinds of rich experiences... For the past few years I've worked as a piano teacher, which has taught me a lot! I feel the best is yet to come in terms of my career...

There really are some very unusual things actually... but I'll have to get to know you better before revealing them ;)

I read many, many hundreds of spiritual/metaphysical books in my earlier years! This reading started in my teens with the books of Lobsang Rampa, after which I devoured all sorts of other stuff. I was most drawn to writers who had forged their own path rather than followed a tradition: eg. Robert Monroe, Jack Schwarz, Tim Freke, Rose Rosetree, UG Krishnamurti, Tom Campbell...

I read a lot of books about health. I particulary admire Dr Sherry Rogers, Dr Sarah Myhill, Dr Jack Kruse...

Never read much fiction but I really loved Watership Down (definitely the book, definitely not the film!!) - read this so many times!

I rarely read 'spiritual books' thesedays and if I do I too often find them to be a rehash of unexamined cliches! Still, I certainly acknowledge that we are very much more than our physical being...

I've watched very little TV or films but I have enjoyed The Matrix, Avatar, Robin Williams, Steve Martin, Jim Carrey and (dare I say this?!) Star Trek! Am very up for changing my ways and going to the cinema more often!

I can rather 'feed' on music... I have played almost all forms of music in the course of my career and I understand and can enjoy the best of most types of music...

Early Genesis was a big part of my life and a major musical influence. Keith Jarrett is a massive source of inspiration. Pianist Hiromi is also a fave.

I love Bach, Handel, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, Yes, Camel, Joni Mitchell, Pat Metheny, Stevie Wonder, Todd Rundgren, acoustic music, many kinds of jazz, spontaneous improvisation... But truly, anything inspired will move me.

I'm very out of touch with modern music but do want to start listening to the good stuff I know is out there...

None, but I do like animals, cats particulary.

Truth, love, beauty, creating, absurdity, my friends, bravery, music, letting go...
