I have been doing this since I think
around 1998. It has always been my intention of providing
a place for single folks of like mind to have a place to
meet each other. It has also been my desire to support all
in being conscious.
As a Psychologist among other things,
I have always been an advocate and teacher of self awareness,
personal growth and spiritual practices. All things conscious
really. Yet, I kept getting questions about what does being
conscious mean. What I know is that folks that are conscious
know what it means and I think they need a place
to hang out and meet each other.
As I say in many places but particularly
in On Being A
Conscious Single, being single is not easy and particularly
for someone on the path looking to meet others on the path.
Holding this space for others of like mind to meet is exactly
what Conscious Singles is for.
And finally! I think after all these
years we got it right. There has been, since the beginning,
a problem with the technology on this site. Not being a
programmer, I was mostly helpless in the face of the techie
folks. I am not sure what I was supposed to be learning
but I do think I am in the right place now to psychically
support a well functioning site. It is my intention, so
we will see.
What I am also about is providing a message
of support and help to Conscious folks. The support hopefully
is all over the site and has many facets. Please check out
the support page and
the Conscious Support Section. Any of the content sections.
My hope is that you meet someone sooner
rather than later and finding someone here would be fine
by me. Many have met here.
Also, I hope that you do get enriched
by the content and the interaction and motivated enough
to get involved by contributing. For whatever reason, I
have always spent a bunch of energy on the content sections
of the site. Maybe too much. But it is something I almost
couldn't not do. So I hope it helps and if you feel similarly
please send me what you
have written or seen that would be good here.
It is a good thing to be active and you
can be active here by sending something for others to read
in one of the article sections; offering good words or a
blessing; or posting on the discussion board. All would
be lovely. And again I believe helpful in you getting there. |

If you are reading this at this moment you have likely
experienced the frustration of searching to meet other kindred
spirits as playmates or life mates.
Conscious Singles network is designed to gather together
those of us who are committed to being and becoming more
aware and conscious while on the path, and open a space
for community and interaction.
In fact, this network grew out of my perception of the need
(my own at the time) to connect us kindred single spirits.
Our conscious network continues to grow. It has evolved
from initially being a regional correspondence dating service
for conscious professionals to a national support network
for those on the path of being and becoming more conscious.
Now it has grown to become an online community where folks
from all over the country can now be involved.
I see this Conscious Journey as one of "the" purposes
of our existence and it can be traveled on many avenues
such as spiritual, interpersonal, intrapersonal, health,
social, and environmental.
This journey has been instrumental in my own process as
a Clinical Psychologist,
both professionally and personally. I am committed to assisting,
in whatever way I can, the development of consciousness
in this culture. This development, I think will be crucial
for the planet's future.
