The Psychology of a Being Conscious Single

Articles in this section are about what it means to be a conscious single. Being single and being conscious can be hard thing for a number of reasons. There a also a number of major benefits including what the capacity to be conscious affords.

Being conscious affords the ability to see and then work with what is-- positively and effectively. Not always immediately but sooner rather than later. So there are a series of articles about how to do this seeing and working with the isness of being a conscious single. ( I have always wanted to use the word isness in a sentence!)

The goal of the articles is to provide guidance after insight for how to make friends and work with difficulties of being non partnered in order to find the right singles zen.

The Western, 12 step and the Course

According to the Course in Miracles, a miracle is simply a shift in perception. Easier said than done perhaps, but there is help available to those whose are conscious of it.

When we are open to the possibility that God's power is truly unlimited--that in the ultimate vastness of the cosmos, love prevails--then we are automatically transported to the realm of possibility in which miracles flow forth naturally. (p.40)

This is a quote from Marianne Williamson's Everyday Grace. I was so impressed with this book and it gave me a greater appreciation for how it and the Course works its own spin on Western faith.
