1-1-05
Things here at Conscious Singles are good. Traffic to the
site is steadily and impressively increasing. Folks are
becoming members in a slow steady stream and becoming paying
members semi-regularly.
Have the discussion boards up and running and doing ok,
not great. I am wanting to do more community creating and
have sent a memberwide message out to come to the discussion
boards and weigh in on how to be conscious and proactive
about the political/social world. Also have added a discussion
thread for folks to publicize Conscious Events in their
area. Hope this helps.
So, please update your profiles--especially the essays
(which may have gotten truncated a while back) and listing
your city and area code (so
folks can find you easier).
Also, we are addressing the existing confusions and others
theoretically on the FAQ page
and Steve is concretely over the next while too.
I am grateful to steve at veggiedate.com for his interest
and willingness to partner with me. And again excited for
his software consciousness.
I am interested in continuing to make space for like minded
conscious singles to meet. To make this as easy as possible
for you and my wish is that you will like the new matchmaking
part of the site.
And watching my own intentness and directness about asking
for dollars and wanting it to be profitable for all--and
yet my attachment to this outcome is not great. It's funny
that after bankruptcy, i had given almost given up on this
site. But with Steve wanting to partner with me i had a
chance to do the thing i had always intended to--which is
to see if this could be a viable site if it actually worked.
Which it never did fully. And don't know what viable means
except not to lose money and to see folks meeting.
I am also interested in making space for like minded conscious
folks to talk and maybe do something of a progressive nature
in terms of making the world a better place. This is a very
interesting and wondrous time to be here and it seems like
directed, conscious energy would be a good thing. So if
all goes well in getting up to speed, then there are plans
for possible discussion groups and maybe more.
